It is very difficult for Americans to get job on a cruise in order - especially as ships registered outside the United States and cruise lines do not obey the same laws in the United States, so that the minimum wage, breaks, how things to leave. The cruise ship workers are working very hard with long layers and not pay ... generally much more doubtful that the Americans have jobs, take the result of low wages (ie, without offending the Americans, but the pay is much lower than earlier) in this country. The exception would be the ship of personal entertainment - dancers and singers are ... I do not know whether what you have in mind or not, though. There are few ships flying the American flag by NCL cruise to Hawaii, though.
